Connecting Accounts
Link your YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram accounts.

Supported platforms
VidLoop supports publishing to three major short-form video platforms:
- YouTube Shorts — via the YouTube Data API
- TikTok — via the TikTok Content Posting API
- Instagram Reels — via the Instagram Graph API
Connect YouTube

Go to Settings → Social
Navigate to your Settings page and select the Social tab.

Click "Add YouTube Account"
This redirects you to Google's OAuth consent screen.

Authorize VidLoop
Grant VidLoop permission to upload videos to your YouTube channel. You'll be redirected back to VidLoop once authorized.
YouTube Shorts
VidLoop automatically adds the #Shorts hashtag to your YouTube uploads to ensure they appear as Shorts.
Connect TikTok

Go to Settings → Social
Navigate to the Social tab in Settings.

Click "Add TikTok Account"
This redirects you to TikTok's authorization page.

Authorize VidLoop
Grant access for video publishing. VidLoop requests minimal permissions: basic user info and video upload/publish.
Connect Instagram

Go to Settings → Social
Navigate to the Social tab in Settings.

Click "Add Instagram Account"
This redirects you to Meta's authorization page.

Authorize VidLoop
Grant access for content publishing to your Instagram professional account.
Instagram requirement
Instagram Reels publishing requires a Professional (Business or Creator) Instagram account. Personal accounts cannot publish via the API.

Reconnecting expired accounts
Social media tokens expire periodically. VidLoop shows the status of each account:
- Connected — active and ready to publish
- Expiring Soon — token will expire within a few days
- Expired — needs reconnection
Click Reconnect on any expired account to re-authorize through the OAuth flow.
